The Reynosa Wind Farm is one of the largest wind power complexes in Mexico and Latin America. Each of its 123 turbines represents a step toward a cleaner future—one less dependent on fossil fuels and aligned with global sustainability goals. In operation since August 2018, the wind farm helps prevent the emission of more than 939,000 tons of CO₂ per year, strengthening Mexico’s energy transition.

Social Impact and Sustainability

At Zuma Energía, we believe that the energy transition must advance hand in hand with social development. From the construction phase through the operation of the Reynosa Wind Farm, we have generated thousands of direct and indirect jobs, boosting the local economy and promoting Mexican talent. We maintain an open and ongoing dialogue with neighboring communities, supporting initiatives in education, health, infrastructure, and skills development. Our commitment is to create shared value and be a long-term partner in the region’s growth.
